The Presonian Woods covers a large area of coast in the north west around the Great Bay. The fog here clings to the pines, creating a mass of ghost stories that keep most troubles away from the forest. Elves that live in the woods find safe haven here, living apart from the greater host of the elves for most of the time.
Humans who found the woods planned to colonize along a cliff and shore line to create trade in the Northern Territories, but the elves made it difficult and the lawlessness of the Great Bay pirates and traders made the coast rough to travel by.
