Creation Myth

In the time that stretched infinitely before the time of Faeries, there was darkness. A god large and infinite within all time. Death was a smaller god that was lost in the dark, but it was hungry and it searched forever in the dark for life, a god that spent forever in hiding within dark.
Suddenly in a branch of time there was a cut in dark. Dark bled into this line and light came forth. Having never dealt with an enemy such as light, dark could do nothing but get destroyed. As light came forth into all of time and all branches of time darkness fled into itself and in its last hope of preservation it died, giving rise to a Faery. Light was not able to hurt the Faery, as it was darkness's last wish to its friend death that light could not hurt what came after. The fight was not long between the Faery and Light, and in an instant Light gave up and wished to Life that it could have the same as Dark.
Life was willing, only if Light gave to it a hiding place from death, as when Dark was killed Death could see. Light was more than happy to give Life its promise and a Faery was made not more than an instant after the other Faery. Both Faeries were not prepared to fight each other after the battle of the Primordials, so they agreed to go dormant and hide in the world. The Faery born of Darkness and protected by Death was Anabel, evil incarnate, and she hid in the south in the hellish land of Dreath where she was imprisoned. Christiana, born of Light and Life was opposite to the sister Faery, the embodiment of Good. She took to the North and locked herself away in the Glaciers where her prison still lies in wait.
As Promised, Christiana gave rise to the lesser races, giving rise to the inhabitants of Tehmcrest. This is where Life hid from Death, in man and mer. Death hid away, scared of the Faery until it was powerful too. It built a tower to imprison the souls of those who pass on, capturing piece by piece of Life until its hunger is satisfied.
